The Evelyn Oldfield Unit (EOU) is recruiting for a new post of PROJECT CASE WORKER

NJC point 26 (£26,342 per annum inclusive of Inner London weighting)

EOU is looking for a dedicated case worker with good advice provision knowledge to provide one-to-one specialist advice (including regulated immigration advice) and casework support to refugee and migrant clients who have experienced trauma, isolation and other settlement issues, and provide and will have substantial experience of providing high quality advice on immigration, welfare benefits, housing, debt, employment, domestic violence and exploitation, female genital mutilation.

The post holder will need to be able to step immediately into a busy advice environment with the necessary confidence, skills and knowledge to deliver specialist advice, casework and support with minimal supervision.

The Evelyn Oldfield Unit is a high profile refugee and migrant-led organisation at the forefront of developing the capacity of the refugee and migrant sector and providing frontline services to Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) individuals.  The Unit is passionate about the values of cultural diversity, community leadership and creating a step change towards more inclusive services for BAMER clients and the voluntary sector.

We are looking for energetic and organised person who is highly passionate in working with people from different cultural background join the charity’s small team. The Development and Office Co-ordinator will play a key role in projects management and communicating with BAMER communities, service users, volunteers, staff and Trustees.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of project management, events management, bid writing, providing frontline services to vulnerable individuals, volunteer management, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
