COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

 

The Evelyn Oldfield Unit is a high profile refugee and migrant-led organisation at the forefront of developing the capacity of the refugee and migrant sector and providing frontline services to Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) individuals. The Unit is passionate about the values of cultural diversity, community leadership and creating a step change towards more inclusive services for BAMER clients and the voluntary sector.

We are looking for energetic and organised person who is highly passionate in working with people from different cultural background join the charity’s small team. The Community Development Coordinator will play a key role in project management and communicating with BAMER communities, volunteers, staff and Trustees.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of project management, events management, bid writing, providing frontline services to vulnerable individuals, volunteer management, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Salary: NJC point 26 (£26,342 per annum inclusive of inner London weighting)

The Unit is passionate about the values of gender equality, cultural diversity, community leadership and creating a step change towards more inclusive services for refugee and migrant clients of the refugee, migrant and mainstream voluntary sector.

We are looking for an energetic, dedicated and organised person who is highly passionate in working with people from different cultural backgrounds to join the small team of the charity.
Salary: Scale 6 (SP26), £26,342 including ILW 35 hours per week (8 months contract) (Fixed Term Contract until March 2018 with possible extension)
