Capacity building

Enhance Project

Who is this for?

For many small charities starting out, physical space to collaborate and serve others is often a big obstacle to providing valuable services. With the cost of office space in London continuing to rise, resources and support is becoming harder to come by for new non-profits organisations.

How we can help

The Enhance Project provides small or emerging black, Asian, ethnic minority and refugee (BAMER) groups with FREE office space and one-to-one support to help charities get established. The office space is located at the Resource for London building on Holloway Road in North London.

As part of the Enhance Project, qualifying charities have access to computers, internet, telephone, printing, and support – all at no cost. This valuable support allows nonprofits to focus on sustainably building their organisation.

The EOU is Open College Network (OCN) London accredited centre, allowing us to deliver free training courses to help with capacity building services that small BAMER Groups need the most i.e. Financial Management training, Fundraising and Bid Writing.

Since 2018, in partnership with the Resource for London, the EOU is also running the ‘Community Agenda’ as part of Enhance. We will facilitate discussion around issues facing BAMER communities through a series of workshops and conferences. Please check our social media for details.
